The Montana Re-Entry Pre-Release Program
The Pre-Release Program is designed to prepare participants for their transition from incarceration to life in society. This structured program addresses the practical, emotional, and spiritual challenges that individuals face as they approach release. Through a combination of mentorship, education, and community engagement, the program equips participants with the skills and resources necessary for a successful and meaningful reintegration.
01.
Purpose:
To empower individuals nearing release with the tools and confidence they need to navigate the challenges of reintegration and build a positive future.Goals:
- Provide practical skills and resources for housing, employment, and financial stability.
- Strengthen emotional and mental preparedness for the transition.
- Foster personal accountability and spiritual growth.
- Connect participants with mentors and community resources to build a support network.
- To create an environment where guys can complete treatment plans which in turn will reduce recidivism

02.
Duration:
The program will be between 12-24 months. Participants are expected to attend and graduate from all the required programs for their development chart.Location:
TBD – Long term goal is to have a learning facility with housing attached. Administrations will also be house along with program managers. In the meantime we are partnering with our community members to provide housing, learning centers etc.Facilitators:
- Montana Re-Entry Program staff members.
- Licensed Sex Offender and Violent Offender treatment therapist.
- Volunteers with expertise in areas like finance, employment, and emotional health.
- Faith leaders to provide spiritual guidance and support.

The Pre-Release Program is divided into sections, each focusing on critical areas for reintegration:
- The University of Cincinnati (UCCI) Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention for Sexual Offending
- NAMA , A cognitive -behavioral approach
- Internships and working with individuals they want to build long-term relationships with.
- Foundations in personal finance: Ramsey
- Reading comprehension
- GED preparation
- Writing skills
- Lincoln Center and MSU City College options
- Montana Bible College
- RW360 program

04.
The program is built around addressing the following core areas for successful reintegration:
- Rehabilitation: Treatment and therapy for behaviors that lead to criminal offenses.
- Housing: Access to safe, affordable housing options upon release.
- Employment: Skills training, job placement support, and professional development.
- Financial Independence: Education on managing money and building financial security.
- Family Reunification: Strategies for healing relationships and building strong family connections.
- Spiritual Growth: Encouragement and guidance through faith-based mentorship.

Participants will leave the program with:
- A detailed reentry plan tailored to their needs and goals.
- Skills and resources to find housing, secure employment, and manage finances.
- Stronger emotional and spiritual resilience to navigate challenges.
- Connections to mentors, community organizations, and ongoing support networks.
